          Under the name Encava New Technologies (E-NT), the bus-maker Ensamblaje de Carrocerías Valencia (Encava) has just presented its line of buses designed to serve urban and interurban public trasportation in the Venezuelan market.

          “We are renewing our production” Encava’s President Amado Martínez said, “so that bus lines can offer clients greater comfort”.

          Martínez said the new buses include enviromentally sound engines that comply with Venezuela’s covenin rules, the European Union’s emissiones control regulation Euro 2, and the United States EPA 94.

          Painted in metal colors, the new Encava buses’ bodies include aluminiun and steel pieces, with seats and floors made with high quality materials.

          The E-NT 900 is a small bus with capacity for 26 passengers. The vehicle has a turbo engine with 175 HP at 2700 RPM and a torque of 347 pounds/foot at 2000 RPM. With 7500 kilograms, it has an excellent weight/power ratio.

          The model’s design also comprises an I-Beam front axle with a capacity of 6600 kilograms.

          The company plans to produce new versions including units with 32 seats.

          Encava also presented its Series 610-32 buses. Coupled with an automatica 4-gear transmission, it has a 6-cylinder engine, which is able to generate a maximum power of 150 HP at 3200 RPM . With a gross weight of 8500 kilograms, the bus con carry 32 passengers. The vehicles front axle can bear 3600 kilograms while the rear one can bear 7700 kilograms. The bus has two side doors, and sears made with fiberglass and covered with synthetic leather.

          Available in three versions, the Encava E-NT 3200 has been conceived for groups of 63 people. The model has a Cumminsturbo diesel engine with a cylinder capacity of 8300 cubic centimeters, which provides a power of 225 HP at 2200 RPM and a torque of 660 pounds/foot at 1300 RPM.

          The buses desined for heavy duty, are enhanced with a longitudinal beam, crossbars, a 6363 kilogram front axle and a 10453 kilogram rear axle.

          The E-NT 3200, in any of its versions, weights only 15 tons.

          Encava presented the E-NT 6000 as the ultimate model of its offers, an autopullman providing both the driver and the passengers with maximum comfort. 

          With a chassis specially reinforced for the vehicle’s typical work,Encava’s pullman has a Cummins turbo diesel engine with 275 HP at rpm and a torque of 800 pounds/foot at 1.300 rpm. It is coupled to an electronic transmission for heavy duty and hydraulic brakes. Additionally, such versatile design patterns allow a turn angle of 45 degrees.

          The vehicle weights 16 tons and its front axle has a load capacity of 6,636 kilograms, while the rear axle withstands 10,453 kilograms.

          The luxurious and comfort equipment includes inner washable coatings, and a thermally acoustically isolated cabin.

          The floors are divided into highly resistant steel sections, covered with woods and carpets.

          Other feature of the vehicle include bronze color windows made of safety glass, inner packet holder, trunk, movable and ergonomic seats with pneumatic suspension, air conditioning, radio-tape-recording equipment, reading and passenger assistance lights, and plenty of other details giving comfort to both the driver and the passengers.
